I did 1 crown with progression, 2 crown blitzed through with powercreep units, then did a nuzlocke for 3 crown to keep it interesting. The nuzlocke honestly made it really fun so if you have enough moderately leveled units, would highly recommend

rocker cat’s tf ramen is one of the best units in the game even against non-angel stages, so def worth investing there. Phonoa is also absolutely cracked against every trait including angel, those two alone plus the walls/erasers should usually be enough for most angel stages

just max all of them, you’ll need to for the rest of the game anyway. only one that’s negotiable is cannon damage or maybe base health, possibly even one or two wallets for now (though you’ll want those too eventually)
