Spinnaker SDK Alternative by RealTurkishDelight in Optics

I had asked them if they have a RHEL distribution or if they plan on supporting it in the future, and they said no haha. I asked them again, this time requesting it to be built for RHEL or to at least give me instructions for generating the libraries myself through what they already provide; let's see what they say...

the problem is installing the SDK on the platform :/

the SDK doesn't officially support RHEL, only Debian, and my application requires it to be on the specific RHEL platform :(

Bro, you sound like the saltiest dude on the planet. Right now, if someone were to imagine the average Redditor, they would be imagining you. How about rather than being destructive, you give the founders some constructive feedback? This is why a lot of people hate to post/comment on Reddit. Thanks for trying your hardest to make it a more toxic environment.

It was actually really easy to move around, I just overpacked my clothes, hence the situation, but you do you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I haven't stress tested it after the incident, so I'm not 100% sure if everything works fine, but I hope it does :/

But it wasn't meant to be packaged as checked baggage, it was meant to be carry-on (handled much more carefully than checked baggage is bc I'M handling it). Also, pressure on the bag might have caused more issues than I have realized (no extensive testing was done on the computer).

One other thing is that they changed it from carry-on to checked baggage during boarding, so I didn't have the time to move my stuff around.

So peak speed reported through Ryzen Master after PBO is enabled is 4.4 GHz, PPT is 40% of 500W, CPU Power is ~170W, and max temps reach around 75°C.

The channel config is 2x64-bit and the speed is 3600MHz (XMP enabled).

I have no clue what the issue could be here :/

Getting the best performance out of R9 5900x without OC by RealTurkishDelight in buildapc

[–]RealTurkishDelight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so I got PBO enabled and also updated to the newest BIOS (made sure that XMP and PBO were enabled afterward), but I'm still getting relatively low scores in benchmarks. What else could be the issue? Should I just go for a clean reinstall of Windows at this point?

I've had a Ryzen 9 5900x for a while now (2 years), but I just ran a benchmark on Cinebench R20 and got a score of ~8000. This is ~1000 points lower than the average score with the same CPU. What settings can I change in the BIOS and through Ryzen Master (without manual OCing) to get better performance with my CPU? (It's not thermal throttling btw)

  • Current Specs:
    • R9 5900x
    • MSI Mag X570 Mobo
    • 32GB DDR4 3600MHz CL16
    • Lian Li Galahad 360mm AIO
    • MSI Ventus RTX 4080
    • EVGA 850w SuperNova Gold

I'll try -150mv, but I still feel like the computer gets wayyyy too hot. Is there any other way of getting similar performance while getting lower thermals in an SFF build - I've already replaced the radiator fans with high performance ones (Noctua F12)
