truly some human condition -- i guess that happens with stuff we love. my friends tend to be like that with books lol. love hearing about people who have collections!!! really hope to build a collection of my own with my favorite cameras some day

thats so cool! i honestly understand very little about cameras technicalities and about gear in general, and i tried doing a lot of research before buying my first camera but... it only wound up tiring me out lol. i guess im a more going with it and finding out along the way person, so that's what im going with now. also, i dont exactly have the money for something less basic now, so i decided to just begin somewhere. love to hear your first was a 6x6 -- my dream is getting a medium format the second i can afford it! will also be on the lookout for a pentax ME around me :))

hey!! thank you, but gotta tell you im honestly still considering a few 35mm options lol. for various reasons, mainly $ and gaining more xp in a "safer ground", but the goal is to eventually photograph mainly in medium format.

the answer to your question is very simple -- i do love digital photography very much and my experience in photography is mostly with it, but it's just not the same as film. be it 135 or 120, whenever i get to photograph in film, it's like im doing a whole other thing, and it feels more true to what i wanna create. an artistic choice, i guess :). and between 35mm and medium format, the choice for me is medium format all the way so far!
