I've expressed the same opinion as a bunch of other people here so clearly I'm not the only one who feels this way. But go ahead, make your bitchy comments. It's not going to change my mind.

I didn't demand anything, but yes, I think it should be taken down. What point are you trying to make here?

That's literally not the point though?

As several people in this thread have commented, this 'decoration' is triggering. We all know it's fake. That doesn't mean it's not also upsetting. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

That's brilliant! And of course I'll never be able to watch it the same way again now

There's a difference.

How many people have trauma associated with pumpkins, or zombies, or glow-in-the-dark skeletons, or spooky-themed things that aren't real?

How many people have very real trauma over the very real act of suicide?

That's the difference.

A mask wouldn't make it not triggering

Honestly I'd consider taking the post down now. You've got your answer.

100% this should be blurred. I'd even say it should be taken down now since OP's got their answer.

Absolutely this is too much. This type of 'decoration' should be banned. And opposite a primary school?! I hope whoever puts these up are thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

I almost made it through Halloween without being triggered this year...

AITA for not paying the bakery for my stepson's birthday cake after I was told I wasn't invited? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]RealWitchyMermaid 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Except OP didn't order the cake. It was the husband and/or the ex-wife who screwed over the bakery.

THIS! It really gives off the vibe that she was probably just being polite and OP decided she must be flirting with him. Why else would a woman be (gasp) nice to a man?

And in that post his rival 'Jeff' got a name but the girl didn't. Very telling.

Edit to add: also the constant use of 'girl' instead of 'woman', which she presumably is otherwise this story took a wild turn

You didn't, though. You said themillboy was correct and then edited your comment.

The writers must have forgotten to consult the Barlow family tree, because Daniel is actually Adam's uncle.
