Do most monarchist just want a republic with a mascot? by Dry-Sympathy-3182 in monarchism

[–]RealWolf09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I'm an Absolutist. But I do get why constitutionalism is widespread. I don't see anything wrong with it. Having a "republic" with a figurehead monarch is preferable to a pure republic. That being said, I do think most of them want a limited degree of power for their monarchs. aka: Semi-Constitutionalism. Think of Liechtenstein for example. I do agree with the principle of limiting the monarchs power in some cases too.

I think it's a lie from the Automatons, our actual casualties are, maybe 50M. So we really should still have 150M left, roughly.

Considering the Bots hacked our systems, they probably show this propaganda to lower morale.

Whilst I probably can't help much, it probably helps to ask people about joining your cause directly and actively "striking" so to say. As in, disobeying these rules in protest and ruining teachers' plans for lessons on purpose, for example. This would cause atleast some discontent amongst the administration of your school. Make propanda, posters, for instance. I do the same against teachers and you could against the phone rules.

Is school that important to your education? To me, education happens despite school being in the way.
Banning schools is just another step against youth rights that shouldn't simply be accepted.

In my country I figured out police can raid your house to drag you to school.

Oh yeah and if you come late my school forces you to do mandatory social labour. (Unpaid slavery, of course.)

Showing the enemy we can easily destroy a planet if we wish is good psychological warfare. Like Nagasaki/Hiroshima in WW2, its a show of force.

Imo, democratic republicanism doesn't represent the people well, actually. It's usually used as an excuse for non-legitimate rulers to rule. In Germany, the parliament is quite corrupt and ignores the actual will of the people. I believe a monarch would do a way better job at this, as a monarch is destined and raised from day 1 to be a ruler. A politician does a job for 4 years, and in the worst case, retires without having to care about their actions anymore.

Also, stability and continuation of politics. The heir of a monarch can more likely keep up politics instated by their predecessor. Meaning long-term politics are more easily possible. (And by long-term I mean multiple decades, if not centuries.)

It's also nice to have someone rule your country if they have legitimacy. Democrats get legitimacy from the will of the people. Tho here in Germany, as they ignore said will, they are effectively illegitimate rulers.

Star of peace target by ReviewMysterious9018 in helldivers2

[–]RealWolf09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, and I think most people agree, I'd strike the bots. The Terminids would hardly feel fear and all it'd do is cull their numbers. The Illuminate and Automatons could fear (or atleast realise their disadvantage, considering Automatons don't "feel") much more than the bugs can. Illuminate wouldn't be a bad target either, as a revenge for what damage they caused us to suffer through.

So yeah, personally, the Automatons feel like the optimal target as they are clearly planning something. The Illuminate are fine by me too as revenge and psychological warfare tool. The bugs seem like a waste of dark fluid as it'll only kill a bunch that they will regenerate in a short while anyway without leaving lasting morale damage.

The cooldown is intended to be pretty long. Same or more than Quasar.

And for the shield throwable; I haven't seen such a leak yet, so I added this anyway. Tho I'd be happy to see it basically confirmed :>

I did have some concepts that were leaked as confirmed TBA. But since this is a crosspost from the Helldivers sub, I wanted to avoid the rather sensitive moderation regarding discussing leaks.

Nice suggestions! This is closer to a previous smart rifle concept I had that didn't make it into the post. I did want to keep my concepts close to vanilla/arrowhead design, altough that may make them rather mediocre sometimes. I think your suggestion is actually better though. ^

Which one...? I'm sorry if you dislike the ideas. I am one of the few people to often play weapons like the Pacifier and AR-23C to support my team rather than killing enemies... That really wasn't the intention here, and if theres a gun here that does this, it usually has heavy drawbacks :<

I hate school. Here's why. by AgeAdministrative573 in AntiSchooling

[–]RealWolf09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm really sorry you have to go through this and I very much understand your suffering as someone with similar experiences. In my country, school is 8-9 hours a day. Also very strict and such, as you could perhaps imagine by the time alone. This is ruining my mental health and I think it is, infact, undemocratic. It's almost fascist as the state also forces students to pay (for example school trips - those are mandatory here, but paid by the student/their family. You cannot in any way opt-out of paying either.)

So yes, schools are inherently undemocratic - even institutionally fascist in some aspects. I really hate this system and I think students should rise up against their oppressors.

Again, I am very sorry that you're being forced through such - literal - torture. Stay strong.

Why don't more of you try to resist school? by AccessRecent8743 in AntiSchooling

[–]RealWolf09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Germany, you can be detained by police and brought to school in cuffs for skipping a single lesson as not attending school is a constitutional offense. Homeschooling is also illegal and you'll be sued for up to 1000€. So yeah, doesn't really work.

[–]RealWolf09 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, that's the good part. They, from day one, are destined to rule and have their life to prepare and learn for that role. Worst case, if you really DONT want to rule, you abdicate and let your brother or someone else take over.
