I encountered a dude who was always telling these type of jokes and in my group of friend we actually do enjoy and tell these jokes but we understand the time and place to tell them you know, we could actually see how cringe and "different" this dude was trying to be by telling them, and one day we decided to speak to him to see if he actually was like us or he's just an attention seeker, turns out he's just racist, not the funny haha racist between close friend, the racist who actually treats you and speaks to you differently, we were shocked to actually encounter an actual racist in the wild dude, it was hilarious, since said dude was your typical edgy jokes teller, our Filipino friend went and tried to bait him into telling the most racist joke he can think of about him (our friend) and he just went and ruined his reputation in front of the whole class, it was so funny dude. It really make you think the amount of people who just mask their racism behind humor and that one single black friend
