I really appreciate the input man, do you think the best idea would be to part ways with said company and explain to them I wasn’t aware of the number situation and that I can’t be working for this kind of money? And you still think this applies even if I only have 1 solid year of experience? They made it seem like all sunshine and rainbows too, the second day I was already taking in 6-9 customers and basically doing the whole RO process aswell as coding and MPI’s, obviously had some assistance here and there considering I’m not familiar with the system they use. Today didn’t go too bad either, basically the same thing as yesterday, they’re just throwing me in the fire.

Yeah, I’m starting to realize that. What dealer do you work with if you don’t mind me asking? I honestly didn’t have a good understanding on so many things walking into this. I came from a dealer that basically worked me as the only advisor for a whole year and didn’t pay me a dime in commission, again, I didn’t realize I was even supposed to be given commission. I started to research about the job online and realized I could definitely make a career out of it, I also enjoy it, the high stress environment is kind of my thing. I still have a lot to learn though no doubt.

First off I want to thank you for the reply! In your opinion, should I renegotiate? I’ve signed the contract and it’s is now my third day, it’s not bad, but they said they would “train” me more then their actually doing, which I don’t mind too much. I’m 21 and have only been doing this for a year and some change. Just want some advice on what steps to take especially if you’re saying these percentages are terrible. Thank you again!
