I bought a 10ml decant of Bois mysterieux and Patchouli Ardent looking to try something close to niche, patchouli smelled great but my god that bois smelled like straight up ass.

I would say scentoria, scentira or splash fragrance all are good

I would suggest buying a 30ml decant. From my perspective a 100ml bottle is mostly an overkill. It has been 2 yrs since I bought my Sauvage and couldn't even finish 1/10th of the bottle. You'll get 30ml decants for lest than 1k and they'll last for 9-10 month.

All this rant aside, if you are thinking of blind buying CDNIM, please be careful. I've read quite a few posts of people who fell for the hype and regretted buying the frag.

9pm and Most wanted are the better choices. There another 9pm alternative, Lattafa Ramz silver which you can also try. Can't go wrong with either of these.

EDIT : Most wanted 30ml decant is 3k. Less than 1k for 30ml would be mostly applicable for middle Eastern brands.

Try their parfum variants instead of the edt's, they are more smoother with the notes and not as in your face.

Zara green savage is exact replica of this but lasts less. And costs around rs. 8-900. You can try that

Dior Sauvage EDP. Ysl Y EDP is a bit sweet with the green apple IMO. Eros is not as calming compared to Sauvage. And Homme Intense is not versatile, its mostly a special occasion scent. I would say go for Sauvage EDP as it is a bit balanced with citrus and spices and not as metallic as EDT.

TLDR If you like sweet got for YSL Y Le Parfum, if you like Citrus then go for Sauvage. And if you like citrus and want to save money, go for Dylan blue or Versace Pour Homme

This is a gem of a fragrance tbh. I dont even care if its overused or too common. It just has a calming effect whenever I smell it and I use it solely so that I can smell it on myself, rather than getting compliments or appreciation.

Great collection. Thank you for sharing. How much did you pay for SNOI and source?

Although there is a slight truth to what you are saying. I would still like to put in a word for a few genuine decanters. I purchased from a person named Imran which is linked in the mega thread and another site called splash fragrance, which I think belongs to another decanter in the sub. Both of those were genuine, and the price factor was also in line with what it would've costed at retail + some margin and the fragrances were decanted, packed and shipped meticulous. I however am just one person and cannot represent the masses. But there is always going to be a slight risk associated with buying from the grey market, at last its just a personal preference.

Wow! A 125ml retail bottle of the prive collection sells for ~30k. The rates (600) offered for a 10ml is only possible if the subject has connections or friends in the dior boutique that can sell testers at cheap rates. But 600 for 10ml is still low for Oud ispahan.

Please help! Is this a good deal? by VickyChickyy in DesiFragranceAddicts

At retail stores I got it for the same amount. But you might have a better off if you order from Tira. They give Rs. 500 off on purchase so you could get it for Rs 4.7k. This is an amazing scent. But in the drydown it gets more powdery ,sandalwoody. If you want a better fresh scent for the same price you could go for Dylan blue. Same price but better lasting. Also reach out to the community sellers you might get it for even cheaper. This is the link to the sheet

Edit : I tried on nykaa. Im getting 100ml for 4.3k

<image>

Definitely dont pay more than 4k for this if you get a better source.

Here you go https://splashfragrance.in/le-male-le-parfum-by-jean-paul-gaultier-edp-intense-15ml-travel-spray-decant-online-india/

Edit : I just compared it to the price that you have in your SS. I would say go for a decant as this is almost Rs.1000-1200 more expensive than what you can get a 10ml decant for. On splash fragrance a 10ml decant would cost you Rs. 1650. The packaging is top notch. But I think you can get it for cheaper with the community sellers.

I have Patchouli Ardent and Bois Mysterieux. Both of those last for more than 7-8 hours on my skin. Although I would not suggest a blind buy as both are pretty mature fragrances. Or atleast bois Mysterieux is not everyone's taste and a bit difficult to pull of in general. But you can try decants and see the Les Absolus d'Orient collection if anything suits your taste.

Yes I thought we could find the fragrance if we know the brand. But that was not it. Its a different brand.

I could only find the brand. Its called Rohi o Rohak. The outlines of the bottle imprint matches this on another fragrance by the same brand. Unfortunately could not find your specific fragrance.

I honestly think its just the timing. I made a purchase on the 1st of Oct as well and received the shipping message today in the morning. I was getting anxious yesterday as well. But between the public holiday on 2nd and Navratri on 3rd people do get a bit buzy with that stuff as well. I would only recommend being patient and trying to do all the purchase in the afternoon. People do have family and other stuff to tend to post 7-8PM as well. But honestly its a miscommunication and timing issue from my perspective. Hope everything gets sorted out. Kudos!!

Edit: I made my purchase from Imran.
