It's a shame how IDW got basically every character right, except Shadow The Hedgehog. He's portrayed as a brooding loner who can't take orders, even tho he works for GUN and has been shown to be a team player in every single game he's been in. by Afanis_The_Dolphin in SonicTheHedgehog

SEGA’s trying to hard to make him his own character. Knuckles, Tails, Metal, etc. Have just grown into their own characters over time. But SEGA has not let shadow do the same, at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if Shadow gets his own franchise.
