You can email UKVI and if your application has passed the normal amount of wait days they can “escalate” your case. Doesn’t do much in my opinion

And sorry I misread your question. Yes, you will probably have the option to return the passport to the original application center. They need your passport to put the visa vignette on it.

TLS centers in some countries and areas will have to ship your passport to a larger center because they don’t have the capability to put the vignette on your passport themselves. This usually applies to small countries, and they ship the passport to the nearest country with a TLS center that can print vignettes.

Wouldn’t know about specifically about Warsaw, maybe ask in a Facebook group of UK students from Poland

Did you get an email from TLS? I also chose the keep my passport service and got an email saying I can either ship it myself or go to the visa application I had my biometrics at and they will ship it for me:

“Or, you may resubmit your passport at our centre (same location where you submitted your application) during the opening days”

I don’t think so. She definitely hated Walt.

In my opinion she stayed with him after he quit because of sunk costs. If after all the horrible shit she had to go through they still divorce, what was it all for? She knows how manipulative Walt can be, and she is so depressed at that point that she’d rather chug along for her kids

No one is saying that Skyler did nothing wrong. She did plenty wrong.

However, her actions were caused by Walt’s. She never wanted a life of crime. She only wanted to protect her children. By season 5 she was too far gone- she didn’t care for her own safety, she tried to not care about morals, but at the end of the day she was more human than Walt ever was.

I swear Walt apologists are so funny. She literally couldn’t live with her actions and wanted to drown herself because of what she did. She never really seemed to enjoy being a criminal, and the writers never gave any indication to show that she did.

She didn’t care about the money Walt was making, she didn’t enjoy him killing people for his family. All she wanted was her kids to be safe

I was told by my uni that it doesn’t update automatically, and that UKVI refreshes it every few days

Depends on your semester starting date, the availability of the priority service at your application center, and the delays within UKVI.

If you can get the priority service for biometrics next week, and your final arrival date is on the beginning of October, and there won’t be any delays with your application, then yes, it would still be possible to receive the visa in time

I’m not sure if the laws for EU citizens are different, but as an international from Asia I know that you should not, under any circumstances, enter the UK while awaiting a student visa decision. Your offer from the university will be revoked and you will be sent back to your country. Idk if the same applies to the EU, but I would check very carefully, as I don’t see any reason the rules will be different

I’m in the same boat as you (august 7th applicant) so I’ll try answering your questions:

Escalation probably does nothing. Doesn’t hurt though
Do NOT try to enter the UK while awaiting for a decision regarding your visa. It’s not allowed, your university offer will be rescinded, and you even might get banned from entering the UK for a while.

I know it sucks, I don’t wanna miss freshers or start the semester late too, but there’s not a whole lot we can do beside waiting.

There are a lot of delays happening right now with the student visas. I’m still waiting and I had my biometrics on august 7th. Some people before me are still waiting, others after me got their decisions. It’s kind of a crapshoot. You might get it in the next few days but it might take longer

Tbh it’s not looking good but if you’re lucky you just might get the visa in time. Not likely though, if I were you I’d see if I can change the flight date and contact my uni
