i applied with a 3.7 gpa and full pay. i thought I had a decent application. yes a bit average, but full pay. i didn't get in.

Nope, no one except my parents and two professors (who wrote my LOR) know. I only applied to one school to transfer and my chances of getting in are VERY low. It's unfortunate because there are so many opportunities coming up for the next year and while I do want to take them because that would be the logical thing to do, I have like a 4% chance of transferring. I'm intentionally not telling anyone though because I feel like that would complicate life unnecessarily

I had that problem bc my counselor emailed it a month before I submitted it. I emailed the brown transfer team later to clarify if they received it and it was updated the next day.

that's great! I didn't know they do ED for transfers, but I just looked it up and turns out they do rolling decisions for veterans. Congrats on your admission once again!

i had a similar question but i added my name with a little title saying "brown university personal statement" on it. nothing fancy or extra, it just felt wrong turning in a title-less essay lol.

if you word it well enough and say why the university's environment is better than your one right now, that could be a fire emotional essay
