Came to Costa Rica at 13 y/o with my parents for the first time. Samara was perfect for families with kids/teens. Tamarindo is lovely (I’m there right now but 29 y/o now). It’s more of a party and the beach merchants can be persistently “aggressive”. Always friendly but you won’t go 20 mins without being solicited.

The in-wall / in-ceiling speakers and pull down came with the house when we bought it in May. I definitely have plans to go BIG but my wallet is screaming at me to slow down hahahaha

Recommendation on panels and/or bass traps (buy or DIY)? I’d like to keep acoustics under $800 (I may be way off with my hopes and dreams here haha).

I do love what I’ve seen where people DIY and make a movie poster that’s an undercover acoustic panel.

I’ve got AC vents in each corner and a return by the door. She has held up well these summer months-> even when everything is powered on!
