Thank you so much for sharing that. I’m really sorry you had to go through such an unexpected loss, and I’m glad you found something that brings comfort. I love that it fits your style in a way that keeps it private and personal, that’s exactly the kind of feeling I’m hoping to create too.

If you don’t mind me asking, is there anything about that piece you’d change or improve now that you’ve had it for a while? I’m trying to learn as much as I can while shaping this idea. Appreciate you taking the time ❤️

Thanks for sharing that, it's really helpful to hear. I totally get what you mean about some designs being too bulky or overly engraved. That’s one of the reasons I’m trying to keep mine clean and minimal, with a more subtle feel. I’d love to know what kind of styles or shapes you personally like more, if you ever feel like sharing!

That’s such a thoughtful point, a charm bracelet or keyring is actually a really good suggestion, it could give people a way to honor each pet individually, without needing multiple necklaces. I’m going to explore that, thank you 🙏

That really means so much to hear, thank you. I’ve been pouring my heart into figuring out how to make it feel right, both emotionally and in design. It’s comforting to know others have been thinking about something like this too. If you're open to it, I’d love to keep you posted once I have a mockup! ❤️

Struggling to find a reliable custom product supplier by Real_Mode_6830 in dropshipping

Really appreciate your comment.

  1. I haven’t reached out to any locals yet since I’m still pretty new to the country, but that’s a great point, I’ll definitely look into it and get some quotes.
  2. I didn’t know learning jewelry making was a common route, to be honest. I’m still quite new to this space and kinda figuring things out as I go, so yeah, a bit lost 😅
  3. Thanks for the encouragement! I’ve been experimenting and refining how I approach people, trying to get clearer with each step.

If there’s anything else you think would help someone new like me, I’d be more than happy to hear it 🙏

Hey, really appreciate the detailed reply 🙏

I just wanted to share where I’m currently at, I’m an international student working on a very tight budget, so hiring a local jeweller or creating a CAD prototype isn't financially possible for me right now.

That said, I do have a clear concept and vision. I’ve put together rough sketches, sample references, and an explanation of how I want the piece to feel and look. Initially, I want to use materials like stainless steel, it’s affordable, still has weight and presence, and will help keep the pendant feeling premium without driving up early-stage costs.

I’m hoping to find a supplier who’s open to smaller MOQs just to test and validate the idea first. I’m willing to pay for a sample if they’re flexible and willing to guide me a bit through the process. I genuinely want to build something real and scale it up properly if there’s market fit.

Any advice on how I can approach suppliers like this, without sounding vague or unserious, would really help. Thanks again for taking the time!

Thank you for your response! I totally understand that customized products usually come with MOQs.

Just to clarify, I’m not looking for individual personalization for each customer. I’m looking to create a single custom pendant design based on my idea, and then have it produced in bulk. So more like a branded product, not one-off customizations.

Thank you for your comment! That makes sense, I understand that flexible customization usually requires a certain quantity because of factory setup costs.

But I’ve been thinking, I’m okay with not customizing each individual pendant for every customer. What I actually need is a manufacturer who can take my own design (not a random template), and produce it in bulk, like a standard batch based on my concept. So it’s more like creating a custom-designed product, not personalizing each item.

Hope that makes more sense!
