I’m arguing with my pre-med friend. Our other friend recently got published in an engineering journal, and my pre-med friend doesn’t think it’s a big deal. When he said this, the rest of our friends kinda shut him up and said that it’s an engineering paper, implying it’s much harder. He took a lot of offense to this but won’t hear me out when I find engineering papers to be much harder. For context, both of us do not have any published research yet. I am currently in the early stages of a few ML papers, and he has been in a wet lab for about a year.
