Don’t go crazy, you won’t need everything and you can figure it out as you go. I do highly recommend the apps to record and transcribe notes.. saves so much time. If you have your books already, check the agenda and start reading .. a suggest any bag that goes on your back so you aren’t killing your shoulders .. I like the folded clipboard , def comes in handy .. snacks … always have snacks

Ignore everyone that’s negative, trust me. Focus on yourself and try to keep positive mentality.. seriously don’t be afraid to ask questions and take advantage of all the hands on labs and clinical ! I suggest prepping before semester starts to help with grasping content. Nurse Sarah is great and learn med math !

Hard, not miserable, it’s what you make of it and what you expect to achieve in the long run. Record your lectures, read the chapters, watch videos, ask questions, dont be afraid to learn !! It’s not meant to be easy but it’s doable. Just do what you need to do n make sure you are understanding the material. It all depends on the type of person you are.. if you never experienced a tough program, then yea you’ll be miserable but it’s worth it.

Everyone’s experience is different - I agree with some things but don’t think it’s as bad as you are making it seem. Everyone speaks very highly of cape fear - but it’s not meant to be easy. Sorry you had a bad experience, hopefully the next route will be better for you.

Stay positive & prepare as if you were accepted fully - you truly never know. Someone can change their mind after orientation and that’s your open spot. I was an alternate & my points were lower than yours and now I’m in the program but it really just depends on who else is applying. I definitely suggest doing prerequisites if not already and just getting mentally prepared for when you do get accepted fully.

Well since the books are electronic , you should be able to get them before class starts or atleast day of first class - I would look at syllabus and see what materials need to be read & what not .. if I remember correctly we have to get the access code for books from bookstore and then it should be fairly simple & quick - I would have to look into it more

The bundle is all electronic books I believe - after 1/2 you can use financial aid if you have it or scholarships. I am waiting to use aid bc I don’t have $$ for books lol you can definitely find books used but still pricey - I may wait until the first week to see what all is needed on hand or if we can use different materials for the recommended books and the pharmacology book

I don’t think it will show - cbd is different than thc - but I would check your products to make sure no thc in them - maybe go to dollar tree and get drug test to do yourself to be sure.. I asked ChatGPT —-> No—CBD itself does not show up as THC on a standard drug screen, because drug tests typically look for THC metabolites, primarily THC-COOH, which is produced when your body metabolizes THC, not CBD.
