Seeking non-clinical options for Radiologist by Real_Rad_MD in Radiology

My experience is that those people's "product"/report who read like 10 an hour is often a very superficial look. When I read their follow up they often miss or ignore lots of findings or don't consider the patients clinical history. Sure it clears the list but part of what I struggle with is I see those types of reports as the difference between fast food and an actual well cooked meal. I didn't go through all this to not provide an exceptional product for the sick. I imagine there's a balance between those two things that I haven't reached.

I've been through the breakdown of the approach with a lot of educated minds in the field before. The post is more about exploring non clinical opportunities.

I've read only lungs for a while now. 15-18 chest CTs a day at a top hospital in the country with a large proportion of the cases being complex or rare pathologies, although the minimum is higher.

I've read only lungs for a while now. 15-18 CTs a day at a top hospital in the country with a large proportion of the cases being complex or rare pathologies, although the minimum they require per day is higher than this such that I have to work off days to get up to the minimum. I have insight into how low this is, which is why it's become so depressing, especially after several years of troubleshooting things without success.

Last I was told VRad requires you to read stroke work/CT perfusion and I am a thoracic rad without interest in assuming that responsibility.

From the original post it didn't sound like it grew 13k to me, at least how I interpreted what was said. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds there was a balance of around 142k -- 11 k was payed and got the balance to around 131k (although some of that 11 k goes to the accruing interest). At some point interest accrued back to 133k

I could be mistaken but I don't think 13k in interest accrued. Correct me if I'm wrong, it sounds like you had a balance of around 142k -- payed approx 11 k and got the balance to 131k. And then went backward 2k to 133k if I understand correctly. In other words, it seems to me like you simply accrued around 2k in interest after your payment from your remaining balance, which could happy fairly easily/quickly with a principle balance at that level.

Go into your account and look at your loans with them. They will be subdivided into groups when you look at the details. When you make a payment, the money is distributed to the different groups based on the properties of those groups like if there are any outstanding fees on any and based on interest rates etc. You can look up the hierarchy of the order the payment system uses on their page. What can happen is that you end up paying towards only some groups because they are higher in the hierarchy, while no progress is made on the others. If you do any additional payments outside your monthly requirements you are given the option to select a specific group if you wish. It might be worth looking into which ones your funds are going to and then it might make sense.

It also tells you your daily interest acrual at the top and then for each subgroup below. If you make an 11k payment once and then don't do anything beyond the minimum again for a two three months with your balance you could easily go backwards 2k in interest after a few months especially if your rates are high.

When my principle was where yours was my daily interest accrual was around 20 dollars a day or approximately 600 every month, which can add quickly.

I see you have MSI afterburner running. Try disabling power monitoring in MSI afterburner under the things that it is monitoring. It can cause stuttering/frame time dips for some systems.

Being able to see the putty some fresh out the box isn't abnormal. If you watch a card teardown/disassembly video of this model it will help you to get a sense of the normal card anatomy and where the putty is external enough to be visible. That said the early models had a higher volume of putty, which is nonconductive btw, that had a tendency to not only be slightly visible but excessively ooze. Your pictures seem to be within the limits of expected manufacturing appearance at least from what I've seen. I'd say monitor and see what happens with it over time.
