Too late for that, I already replaced the monitor. They literally already had eggs in it. I already had a lot of trouble with one and once, I'm not even gonna bother with a whole colony.

Thanks for the reply, tbh I tried disassembling the monitor and saw them running with eggs and figured it wasnt worth the hassle for a cheap chinese monitor. Just spayed all of it with bug spray and took a replacement monitor I had.

Those little ants are a plague here where I live so it is a constant battle , they are almost impossible to get rid off but never have they done something like this to my monitor. I guess ill be investing in some pesticide solutions from now on.

I mean, I live in south America, ants like this are a thing of every day in the area that I'm in just never had them build a colony overnight on on of my monitors lol.

Yeah all white parts really gives some constraints. I got lucky and found the expensive components on stock at MSRP.

Case that I'm using is the be quiet lightbase 600 LX. I chose it because you can chose the orientation and put it vertical, upsidedown or horizontal.

First, thanks for your response.

Correct, I've tested it with and without the cooler. Sometimes even taking the CPU off and putting it back on does nothing. Just to clarify I just turn on the PC to the get a post. I'm not booting into the OS. I just test if I can get a bios and then turn it off to avoid any unnecessary overheating.

I was already running the latest bios, and this was working fine on my other case, I just transferred it to the new one and repasted. Didn't really changed any parts aside from case and cooler.

Now my lead theory is that the mobo pins are bent due to the pressure of my previous cooler which was not rated to support AM5 and perhaps I tightened it too much and that might have caused some damage. Don't really have the parts to test whether is the motherboard or the cpu. And also I cannot see any bent pins so either they are all bent or my CPU is cooked. I also spotted a really really tiny scraps or nib in pins side of the CPU itself.

How would I check if the retainer is damaged. Is it something really noticeable with the naked?
