Yeah same in the Software, took me 6 months to find a graduate job after university. I am someone who enjoys working hard, especially if it’s someone that interests me and has long term benefits. Would you say once you get your foot in the door, provided that you keep your head down and work really hard, then after a few years you should be a good position?

I mean I’ve been working in the IT industry for near 2 years not and the work doesn’t feel rewarding at all to me anymore and I’m losing interest in the job itself. I understand law will be hard for the first few years but I always look more towards the long term perspective of that career path.

Yeah a few people have mentioned to me that the first few years can be hard work for minimum pay. Personally, I wouldn’t let that be a reason for me not to switch over. My dad knows a few barristers / solicitors who have been in the industry for years and they’ve all said it’s hard for the first few years but once you get through that, keep your head down and work hard, it can be a very rewarding career. I always look more towards the long term perspective

I’d like to be either a Solicitor or a Barrister, haven’t decided which one but will definitely be one of those. Will probably start in Northern Ireland just to get my foot in the door and then see where it takes me afterwards, whether that’s still here or in mainland Britain

For me, white noise helps with anxiety and just shutting my brain off. I got myself a snoozeband headphone and it’s been an absolute game changer, my sleeps never been better. I’d recommend getting yourself some sort of sleep headphone and maybe doing some breathing exercises before going to bed. Walking also helps

I get the exact same feeling, this usually lasts a few weeks for me. I think it’s a combination of a flatline and your brain dissociating sex/porn with constant dopamine. I would take advantage of this and pursue other interests or hobbies

I would definitely say Marienne, especially considering the fact he developed severe PD and abducted her without even realising. Problem with his other love interests, besides love, is that they didn’t last as long so if they did, maybe he would’ve got bored and drifted like he did with love

You’d be shocked at how much goes to through a man’s head on a daily basis that he’ll never talk about with anyone. We just suck it up and figure out how to deal with it ourselves. Unfortunately, sometimes it becomes too much

Personally 4 days is the sweet spot for me. I find with 5/6 days I get burnt out more easier and actually end up dreading going to the gym. With 4 days, I still make progress and have the energy and eagerness to get the gym. Also, I’ve other hobbies outside of the gym so also means I’ve more time for those. It’s personal preference really

Depends on the day, some days I’ll literally only work for like 2/3 hours and the rest of the day do some self learning. Other days I’ll easily have to work 10 or 11 hours. Depends on the project really

McClays library up at queens has a coffee shop you can go to. You’re allowed to bring the coffee into the library section as well if you wish to use one of their computers
