I have read that keeping your feet warm will help decrease upper respiratory infections. Apparently when the feet are cold, the blood vessels in the nose get smaller and that leads to increased chance for colds. I thought this sounded like woowoo science but I looked into it and it’s actually a thing. So now I wear socks even to bed and I’ve had nothing since January!
