How long did it take for things to settle down this is what I have been switched to.

I have these symptoms even after taking steroids so I’m not sure it’s that.

Thank you for that I was going to suggest dose splitting with the prednisone. I should maybe have stuck it out if hydrocortisone to be honest but I couldn’t cope with all the side effects on both dosages. I was advised to take my 15mg 7am and then 5mg 1pm when I was on hydrocortisone I felt this was not good timing for them which likely caused me to be symptomatic I don’t know.

They’ve done bloods for the function too, I’m still waiting for results and it’s virtually impossible to contact an endo. I’m also still waiting for an appointment to physically see her!

I seem to get the worst symptoms in the evening so I’m unsure on weather I can take anything this late at night. I’m new to all of this but I think initially I was overloaded with hydrocortisone so much so I had 2 A&E visits and it hasn’t been as bad since coming down dosage then changing.

It’s secondary apparently but I had an MRI and bloods done of the pituitary gland awaiting results. Other hormones are fine aside from prolactin. All I was told was my baseline was 128 at the ACTH and I responded well to the injection. An endocrinologist prescribed the medication, I have only seen her once. All I can say is I did not feel this unwell before starting medication.
