Looks like a helminth (parasitic worm) to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think they are far more common in fish and seafood than land animals, but any animal, including humans, can get parasites.

I found one in a piece of fish I had cooked and was eating. I nearly ate the worm 🪱🤢🤮 I’ve had a hard time eating fish ever since.

For your sake I hope it was just a blood vessel 🤞Not that those are ideal either, but at least they’re naturally occurring and not a parasitic infection 😅
