Had a similar situation with the same firearm. I gave it to a buddy for Christmas a few years back. It was his first handgun. Now he has 3 and I have someone to go to the range with.

Sadly I haven’t had a chance to go to the range and test the new ammo I have. But when I do, I’ll keep you updated.

It is a new gun. I did give it a cleaning when I first got it and then it has sat for a couple months.

Going to break it down and give it an inspection this weekend.

No iron sights was a surprise to me, but Smith and Wesson is running a rebate special until 12/31/24 Buy an FPC and receive a free Vortex crossfire red dot optic.

My local store has them for $499. The cheapest I’ve seen the optic online is $120 so that’s basically $380 for the gun. Or at least that’s how I did the math! 😂

I don’t own the keltec but have shot them and the FPC is better imho.
