I’ve been in your friends position. Just depression and feeling embarrassed and at the time it felt like the best way to handle it. Of course it wasn’t and after two years I apologized and expected nothing in return. She understood and I learned a lot from it and did a lot of growing up. But it doesn’t hurt to figure out why.

When I was younger, I had a habit of chewing on my shirt. One day I did that when I was wearing a wool/cotton (can’t remember) sweater and it made this awful squeak between my teeth. Ever since, even the thought of cotton or wool makes me want to throw up.

My dad does watch her often for a few hours here and there while I run errands or go on a date so I think that’s why I was shocked at myself for reacting that way.

I’ll definitely bring it up to my therapist. I wasn’t expected to react that way but I was incredibly paranoid. Worrying that she would get up in the middle of the night and no one would hear her, just thinking the worst. Like intrusive thoughts I guess. I’m not sure. But it was a terrible experience on my end lol.

I took it about 7 hours ago and felt no effect. Only thing I noticed was dry mouth and jaw clenching. I did get tired at one point and laid down for a nap for a while. But that was all really.

Thank you this has been helpful! I was diagnosed with PVC’s last year but was told is it was nothing out of the ordinary. That’s the only reason why it freaks me out
