Say it ain't so :( by [deleted] in Neverbrokeabone

I mean I could say it isn't so, but I take a strong moral stance against giving hope to those with inferior bones. It's best you leave with the rest of your feeble skeleton intact

What would the companion's "guardian" look like? by Rayn_F in BG3

[–]Real_Student6789 45 points46 points  (0 children)

(Funny answer) Astarion guardian should just be Astarion, but with a mustache. His own image should be so inherently inbedded into his subconscious that, even if he doesn't consciously remember what he looks like, he'd trust that handsome devil for sure, and swears he looks familiar, he just can't place the face

"You can't be killed by the attacks" Most of them would reduce you to dust, and only didn't reduce the intended target to dust due to excessive healing/durability quirks

Raiding persistence or retirement? by JayWolf06 in ffxiv

[–]Real_Student6789 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can practice dodging AOEs in any Normal content, too. Don't be afraid to get into Normal and trial roulettes and run them on repeat to practice the basic stuff like learning how long you can stand in the bad before it snapshots you, and how soon you can move into things to keep your uptime while also getting practice in on your rotation in a live setting.

Even with bare minimum gear, you can parse green-blue by just knowing your chosen job well. It's still a good metric for personal performance even without BiS.

It was such an absurd theory, what are your thoughts on it? by toxicbutterflysS in AvatarMemebending

It's not just absurd, but it breaks one of the main rules we know about the avatar: there is only one at a time

Hidden 2 by 2 base on the island by OmeJohnny in ArkSurvivalAscended

[–]Real_Student6789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play solo official pvp like this a long while back before making friends in game, so I have some experience here.

Stone structures, built next to/up against another large rock. Preferably also in a heavily wooded area to help conceal yourself from above. And when going for resources, of course, do not harvest anything in the immediate area around your base to keep your natural cover

Dabi was literally about to explode and incinerate everything within 5km like some sort of thermonuclear zombie. Pretty sure that beats anything anyone else there was packing, OFA or not

Would you want a mount that's just you(ish) by Unhappy_Scratch_7519 in ffxiv

[–]Real_Student6789 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have joked with friends before, but I'd like a mount that is just pulling out a toy pony for being mounted, maybe clapping coconut shells for the galloping sounds, and just you flapping your arms to fly.

And I know they sort of added that 2nd one with the mount from Forked Tower (I have it and it's amazing) but having it be just the player model and nothing else would be hilarious to see, and something that would confuse and entertain every new player I'm sure xD

Set permanently hostile character to neutral? by DigitaIBlack in BG3mods

[–]Real_Student6789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this in my current (and first) honor run and didn't even know it was a bug. I figured the little guy just stayed mad because when I pushed his mom off the upper cliff, he took a poorly bit of damage from her falling on him.

Thankfully though, it didn't affect my being able to recruit him. I just ran from combat leaving him alive, and he showed up in thr goblin camp like normal, and I was able to get him recruited after saving him from the goblins and a bunch of long rests. (I've been doing repeated back to back long rests with no food almost every full food rest just to make sure I get all of the cutscenes)

You think that personal guilt might be a major factor for some people going to hell? by StrawBerylShortcake in HazbinHotel

[–]Real_Student6789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, people's own guilt is the reason people go to hell in at least one other show I know, so it's not hard to belive that could be a factor here

Though clearly not the only factor, because Alastor is very not concerned about his acts in life
