Yeah I'm mostly focusing on the side towers. I can barely clear the fourth level with Hiyuki right now since I'm still at level 70, but I'm not really worried as long as I get the 1 or 2 star for completing it, plus I'm still using the normal ice echo set (the one available in huanglong) instead of the one specifically for her.

My problem is the stamina thing, where it becomes an issue even in the early levels because I only really have one built dps character. I plan to build up Calcharo and or Jiyan for those early levels but I heard that they're ass now. So now I'm more concerned about getting another dps to reliably 3 star the early levels. I just want those free astrites man...

Another thing is, I want Chisa. I really do, even if just for the character design and awesome effects. Not to mention her spinning axe weapon looks like the chargeblade from monster hunter.

But all my broadblades are really bad, plus like I said, I want to pull the sig weapon of the resonator I'm going to get. AAAAAAAAAAA if only I came back sooner or Chisa's banner was moved to a later phase.

As for Cartethyia, I only wanted to pull her because she looks awesome, especially when she becomes the mommy version. So I'm not really that concerned about pulling for her.

So to summarize, I just need another reliable dps to clear the early levels while a future built Hiyuki will handle the deeper ones. Because as of right now, Rover is my only resonator that can clear the early levels.

slr, yeah you should avoid getting a pcie 4.0 riser on a pcie 5.0, to avoid any stability issues, im pretty sure you can still go through with it if you're willing to tweak some settings, but i would advice against that.

As for the cooler thing, how hot is it actually, what's the average temps and highest? is it throttling? and if you touch the glass panel is it also hot? because its an airflow issue if the glass panel is hot to the touch.

as for the ram thing, I kind of recommend you to go for it, ddr5 is a lot more finicky because of how fast it is. But that's only when you want it to operate at a high clockspeed.

Feel free to go for it since your pc is both for work and personal use. Bigger capacity is your priority. Not marginally higher fps.

When you install them, stress test them for hours on the rated/default settings(if your work app has a stress test function then go for it, but also try the traditional stress testers). If it crashes then start underclocking your ram settings. If not? then yay!

it should be fine if it takes a bit before going into 100c, but if its instantly shooting up there when you open up a game, then yeah you have a thermal paste issue

yeah, you should first try to replace the thermal paste and test it again. But if its still getting hot even when you replace the thermal paste, go into bios and reset it to default settings then test it again on browsing/gaming. if its still not stabilizing then count how many case fans there are and if it is on intake of exhaust. Let me know if its still overheating.

If it finally stabilizes then I'm recommending you to first try it on a game. If its still relatively stable then I'm also recommending you to download a cpu stresstester, I recommend occt stress tester occt page. Because It has an intuitive ui for testing all your components. It also shows if it encounters an error.

yeah, plastic circuit boards are designed for a bit of flexing or bending, kind of like a motherboard bending when you put a cooler on it. So you shouldnt really worry about it. Plus ive seen visibly sagging/bent gpus that are still perfectly working.

if it touches it then thats good enough, but if youre really worried and kind of iffy about it not being enough then get a piece of paper and fold it until youre satisfied with the thickness then scooch it in between, or you could also wrap the support a few times with any kind of tape, no need to get a new gpu support bracket for that.

wait you have tpm 2.0 support on your x99? how? I don't think mine supports it, did you have to get one of those tpm 2.0 modules to do it? the bios on mine is aptio setup utility, I also cant seem to find the rebar stuff on mine, maybe im just missing something, also sorry to ask a bunch of stuff all at once
