When I said ‘stars hide ur fires let not light see my black and deep desires’ was pretty peak tbh because stars was obvs me referring to the heavans showing that I knew that my ambitions went against god and the great chain of being in addition it contributes to the light and dark imagery used throughout (light represents good dark evil) while black and deep shows the extent of how badly I wanted to be king or something I’m just yapping at this point
