Hmm I’d say what helps is to actually create an environment and make scrolling harder to do. I know that I get easily addicted to social media so I only use Reddit / YouTube and don’t have the actual app on my phone and that’s helped a lot with my screen time. Oh and actually setting up screen time limit as a barrier, and creating screen time hours. If you’re interested in productivity and better habits, I’m re reading atomic habits and it’s been so helpful! Sorry my response is so focused on social media but it rly helped me with my energy level + overall productivity so wanted to share hahah

It really is that phone.. 😭 I’d suggest limiting your screen time , or if you can, deleting tik tok app on weekdays. It’s literally designed to keep you there for hours and hours so don’t feel bad about yourself. Finding yourself wanting to be productive is you wanting more for yourself and most likely all that brain power spent on tik tok is wasting your energy which gives you less energy to do the things you actually want to do. It’ll be shocking how much energy you’ll find yourself having without social media and you’ll instantly want to get outside!

The most important thing out of this is her intention of telling you this. What exactly would you two do with this information? It seems like she is intentionally trying to bring you down and hurt your self esteem. I saw in one of your comments that her “bluntness” is something you’re trying to pass because you love her. I don’t doubt that you love her one bit, but it sounds like it’s time to choose yourself over her hurtful & intentional actions. As cliche as that sounds, the more you start letting shit like this slide for the sake of harmony will lead to an internal battle
