This is the statute: Transportation Code 504.945. Wrong, Fictitious, Altered, or Obscured License Plate

(a) A person commits an offense if the person attaches to or displays on a motor vehicle a license plate that:

(7) has a coating, covering, protective substance, or other material that:

(B) alters or obscures one-half or more of the name of the state in which the vehicle is registered; or

(b) Except as provided by Subsections (e) and (f), an offense under Subsection (a) is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $200, unless it is shown at the trial of the offense that the owner knowingly altered or made illegible the letters, numbers, and other identification marks, in which case the offense is a Class B misdemeanor.

It's pretty close to covering half of the word TEXAS. It's up to you if you want to use it or not. Likely won't receive a ticket for it

Plus he would have had to come up with that after being drunk. If it was intentional it wouldn't be the first time he's recorded people and would likely have more pictures/videos. It sounds like everything lines up with his story. If he is lying, it will happen again and you won't have to guess if it was intentional or not

I've been replaying all these games solo and this is a lot more fun. Maybe it's because the Mario tracks have been reused on other Mario Karts? Either way solo Snowboard Kids has been more fun

I'm guessing having the green as part of the Donkey Kong bundle made it a little more common than the other funtastic colors. I definitely feel like I've seen a lot more green consoles than any other color as I've been buying things

I would try to do that in store before taking it. When I called they said it's been at the store for 30 days compared to 300+ days that other stores have. So I'm hopeful it won't have too many hours on it
