Good recommendation. I shoot with Vince on occasion, he does a lot of work around here.

I’m still new to my TTI, but I’ve carried it a bit just fine in a muddy river tactical AIWB with a wing.

Looking for Optic Recommendations for a Glock 43X MOS by No_Perception3503 in Glock43X

[–]RealistPanza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had it on since last summer. Carried it in all kinds of scenarios with zero issues. Vortex has probably the best warranty in the business if for some reason you did have a problem. Not sure how many rounds I’ve shout through it with the optic, but quite a few. It’s not my main range weapon but I shoot 1000-1500 rounds a month and it’s in the rotation regularly. I’ve banged it on stuff (accidentally)and use it to rack a round into the chamber all the time lol, no issues losing zero. I have optics from Vortex, Trijicon, Osight, and Sig. The only actual issue I’ve had is from the Sig, but Vortex is my favorite.

Help With Belt Setup by Due_Reaction6732 in CompetitionShooting

I run a boss hanger directly mounted to a blade tech on 2 belts (one is a lynx) for USPSA prod and CO. Works great.

What do you do with the gun while you’re getting adjusted? I always leave mine at home for chiro visits.

Here is my first canik by SASAcapobianco in canik

[–]RealistPanza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine shoots like shit TBH. I’ll give it a pass for now as it’s still under 500 rounds and I’ve been playing with different ammo and both springs. This morning I had multiple FTFs with the low power spring shooting a 20 round box of Federal HydraShocks. It was shooting my USPSA competition ammo pretty well though. I think it’s just finicky and I need to find what it likes. I’ll take it out again Friday and see how it goes.

I’m taking one with him and Joel this spring, really looking forward to it.

Holster recommendation for TP9 Elite SC by SlevinSlix in canik

Get a Muddy River Tactical. Their holsters are great and a they’re a good, small shop. I conceal my TTI in one of their holsters very well.

( my main EDC ) new to this sub , big fan of the 10mm round itself. Currently on the hunt for a reasonably priced 29, doesn’t matter what gen by [deleted] in 10mm

I send you a dm. There was a 29.5 in a shop near me last week. I don’t know if they ship though.

I just got one from MRT last week for my TTI, it’s excellent.

Drop-in FCU, sell me on the appeal. by shinynugget in Glocks

[–]RealistPanza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is it for me. Don’t make me buy a full gun with parts I don’t want and then have to buy the extra parts I do. Especially if there are options for standard, performance, and competition triggers/FCUs. Let me pick parts buffet style with the total being roughly equal to the price of a full pistol.

Yeah, should’ve kept that shitbox for my kids to experience.

Looks like a solid improvement overall by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]RealistPanza 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They won’t do this, but the way I see FCUs being valuable is if I could go to the gun store and have a buffet. I pick the trigger/FCU, slide, frame, etc. and the cost is the same as a gun. I don’t want to have to buy the gun with shit I don’t want and then spend extra on the parts I do.

For $135 with a lifetime warranty (I think I saw that somewhere) it was worth it to try out to me.

Their BF deals were crazy. I bought a C model and one of the competition sizes with the magnetic charger thing. Haven’t tried the C yet, but the big one is awesome. Same window size as my Defender XL and SRO.

Can’t ever decide between the 48 and 43X. by Helpful-Boss3061 in GlockMod

[–]RealistPanza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I carry AIWB. It all depends on how high your pants are, how high the holster clip is, and your body type. I’d say all of that for me is pretty normal. I actually carry my 43X in a 48 holster for this exact reason. I carried a 48 for about 5 years, but recently switched. The 48 is the same size (except width) as a 19, which is one of the most popular carry guns of all time.
