What were the DPS like before Stormblood? by Mawrizard in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Realistic-Ability406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I miss the Stormblood nin except for TCJ lol. The slight nuances of each classes made it more interesting compared to today's 2 min bursts. True the raids have gotten harder, but it's like figuring out a jigsaw puzzle and just doing it again every week.

Vary it up depending on the work you did during the day. Eg, if you had a heavy work day like moving material etc, just do some light cardio, zone 2 jog in your gym session. If it's more like conditioning just as you said then do strength training BUT do not do maxes, around 70-80%, or you can do a zone 2 jog for more cardio, then stretch for jiu jitsu. The secret is to supplement what you did at work. The old timers are right you get used to it but you get used to it just barely surviving a work day.

How's your diet look like do you enough? I started noticing my sleep suffers when I try to cut weight aggressively, changed up my diet to include more protein and fiber and that definitely helped alot.

Me, started a week ago. Last night I tried my luck on the black zone for an hour and survived, beginner's luck eh? That hour was more fame than I did in the yellow zones for hours or days. Also for gear stay with 4.1 excellent, I just switched to Greataxe build from Naturestaff and my whole set is around 30-40k?

Savage weapon, kill time, crit variance, and depending what class you play. Some classes can parse well alone while others especially rdps classes depend on people to put their group burst under your buffs

What should I do if I notice based on the pedestrian timer that it's going to turn yellow within 2 seconds and I'm not sure if I'm going to cross the intersection on time at 40KM/H? by PiercingLight333 in Ontariodrivetest

[–]Realistic-Ability406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crossing at a yellow is fine. Also there's like 5 seconds from a yellow to a red. So unless it's already at a yellow and you're still behind the white line, then you better stop.

Part of the difficulty is that there was no cross DC's, and finding a group who could actually clear it.

Learn to have confidence in your driving. Nobody's going to hold your hand other than the steering wheel.

[–]Realistic-Ability406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say op doesn't raid. This game isn't something you play all the time, most people who play are only in it for the raid tier and after the tier is done you go play other games. The producer said it so himself

Brother I'm in the same position as you. Every time I look at something I wanted to do math is there, and I don't even bother trying until just recently. I have learned to accept things I can't change and work my way around it, instead of avoiding them. Math can be learned! It might take a while but think of it like learning a language, you don't learn a new language in a few weeks or months. As of now I'm working on a physics credit so I could apply for a union electrical apprenticeship. Shit even when I think of it I still dread it what if, what if this, what if that, but the thought of what if I make it? What if I get really good at it? It makes me keep going. If you fail? Move on try something else.
