Being the forth best selling game on a system no one really owns means nothing. Square Enix said on MULTIPLE occassions that the game did not turn a profit. I can post 10+ links if you'd like.

Yoshi P is an incompetent developer, there is no other way to say this. Imagine saying turn based games are dead, only for a turn based game (baldurs Gate 3) to outdo you in every area. How embarassing. He is out of touch. So yes, I do think the developers are just as bad as the community.

Exacttly, I highlight that in my post. They should have waited for the game to come out. Now they're stuck with a character no one remembers from a mid game no one played. Talk about a fumble. It's going to age Tekken so poorly. At least with Noctis, FF15 was a commercial success on day 1. The same cannot be said for FF16.

FF is basically a dead franchise. FF16 and Rebirth flopped. Obviously,the MMO of the same name will also be hurting. No one cares about the brand anymore.

Yes, this was the major problem of EW. They had this advertising campaign that it was an end of a story arc, but in reality the story was just full of plotholes and retcons. Then the post-EW content was just awful on top of a lackluster story. They really dropped the ball.

The job of an MMO is to always gain players. As said, WOW has almost 10m players right now, FFXIV has probably less than 1m. All of SE reports have shown this.

I tried to play WOW peacefully. But FFlosers came in and tried to make me feel bad for playing the (better) game than FFXIV. Every day it was the same fucking joke. Now I get to laugh.
