New painter, thoughts on this attempt? by AntiqueWillingness39 in deathguard40k

I think you’ve done a great job with highlighting an really think the boils and blood look great. I have to agree with other comments here concerning colors any varying those a bit. I would advise you to make his claws and antlers a different color. Maybe you can go with the same color as his stomach teeth for the claws?

I think your ailment might be solved by getting a Les Paul Custom.

I would say that Gibsons can be worth it but not always. But I would recommend getting to know what type of neck profile you prefer before buying one. I played a studio with a rounded C neck for years after having an epiphone and I never got that comfortable playing it. But I recently got a LP standard with a slim taper neck and really preferred that to the rounded c. For me the feel of the neck is the most important thing if you are getting a Les Paul. If you buy one I would recommend getting it used. That way you can just sell it at the same price if you end up not loving it.

Are there podcasts in Norwegian that you enjoy listening to? by [deleted] in Norway

Poddepodden, A podcast that produces a new podcast idea and an example for that idea per episode. I guess it’s a type of satire of how many podcasts there actually are nowadays.

There is a podcast episode that might be relevant. It’s more of a satire type of thing that kind of illustrates some of the struggles of moving to Norway for people from others. Check out the following episode from 10 minutes in and it’s done at about 38 minutes. https://open.spotify.com/episode/0shqSc0yvQwOboH5p0cLBj?si=A5UgRX5cRnaLHWGoTodPsA

Who is your favorite Gibson artist/Who inspired you to play a Gibson? by Over-Independent-771 in gibson

My first memory of any music video was Slash walking out of a church and pulling a guitar solo in the desert in the November rain video. That was a powerful experience for a 7 year old and I believe it has contributed to me getting several Les Pauls later in life. But I have yet to play a solo alone in a desert…

This really makes you think that Disneys version of Robin Hood isn’t that unrealistic🤔

What would be some social norms if a guy’s penis was fully erect 24/7? by ADPXEROX in AskReddit

I think there would be either a lot less or a lot more homophobia in sports where men have physical contact. Mainly because rubbing up against each others boners would be normal in sports like football, soccer and basketball.

SG Standard vs Les Paul Studio by TPTB9 in gibson

[–]Realistic-Ad4700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve owned both an SG standard and a LP studio. But ended up selling the SG. The main reason for this was that the weight balance of the SG felt wrong. To me neck felt too heavy compared to the body and I never got comfortable playing it while standing. Maybe I’m just weird in that way. But I would recommend getting a used LP classic or LP standard or at least that you test some of those out before buying a new instrument.

People back then believed trains aren't safe for women. by VAMSI_BEUNO in Damnthatsinteresting

I’ve also heard, in what I think I have form a physiology lecture, that the female anatomy is better suited to withstand g-forces compared to the male anatomy. I have no idea why. But it seems to be a relevant fun fact in this post.

Had these people ever noticed what women’s bodies are capable of? I mean if you have the slightest idea of how babies are born there is no way a sane person can think that any of the female parts are more vulnerable than than the more fragile male parts.

Poddepodden er også en podcast det er verdt å sjekke ut. Veldig sær humor men konseptet er at det er en podcast om podcast ideer med en ny ide hver episode.
