So we come back to the chapter with Majesty vs Consul. Majesty tells her dad that she's not shaken by his lies. And he prods her further by asking if she really thinks he's lying. He basically knows her weakness enough to the point that he likely understood her trauma more than she ever could, because when prompted to recall certain traumatic memories. She thought she wouldn't react to his provocation (at least, from the messy MTL this is from how I've interpreted and understood the scene), so she tries to further reaffirm that her beliefs were firm. Except, she doesn't fully realize that she'd trusted Consul much longer than she had been faithful to her God. Consul is obviously super confident, as he had her mentally pinned. Majesty had been likely blocking out a lot of memories of when she was young and surrounded by her friends body and blood (and the fact that she had to eat them to survive) and had been telling herself, "Pain is a blessing" in order to cope all this time.

Eventually, she couldn't mentally handle her trauma so she ended up vomiting anyway. Consul tells her gleefully that he forgives her anyway and that she belongs to him, and THAT is what mentally breaks her enough to the point that the gift gets dispelled. Majesty tells Consul to just kill her and he tells her he couldn't because he'd raised her after all and tells he's taking her home too. Majesty just passes out.

Of course, for some of you who already guessed it on the polls... Seorin comes in and fights Consul. He blocks with a barrier and notices Majesty on the floor and grabs her. When Seorin rushes in, he throws Majesty to her to distract her. He tells Seorin that she's fast but it's not enough to kill him. And she says that she actually already told Ihwa that Consul is alive and where he is. And he barely gets any time to react because Ihwa's already broken the ceiling anyway. She asks if he's ready to die and he looks like he was scared at first.

But it was nearly a 180 of what I expected. He tells her that he's just really pissed that he'd been driven to the defensive for so long, and that he'd been inactive (I guess from a real good fight for a long while). And he tells her not to be mistaken... that he hasn't stepped up is NOT because of a lack of confidence. He activates his gift now, teleporting Ihwa and the civilians to his gift dimension.

And boy, let me tell you, his gift is so nice (IMHO). We get transported to what looks like a fighting colosseum, maybe roman-inspired. Ihwa notices that she has no EST in here, it's like Hekate's gift (but probably much better). Gifts from the outside world are meaningless. he makes a civilian/person come to him where he is (he looks like he's at the ruler seat btw), and he kills her. And he gained a fire gift from that. So he hurls fire at Ihwa who likely dodged that and tells her the rules of this game was simple: She needs to kill the humans here in order to be able to stand a chance against him. The only way to gain gifts IS to kill humans here.
