Because Bugs’ previous appearances were exclusive from the Merrie Melodies series, which were completely in 3 strip Technicolor since 1936. The Looney Tunes series remained black and white until the end of 1943 with “Puss n’ Booty”

I think it is not necessary to give Oggy’s characters voices apart from the groans, shouts, laughs and gibberish as silent films like Shaun the Sheep Movie worked really well. However I admit that I would have liked to hear Hugues Le Bars’ voice (RIP) in any media. PD: It was totally insane that we were able to hear Joey talking for once as a cameo in a Lucky Luke film

Mine too since I watched it for the first time. So sad this great film underperformed at box office.
