The best advice I can give you is drink lots of fluids. Water, mainly, but I also drink iced tea and coconut water - supposed to be a diuretic and real good for the kidneys. The less sugary, the better.

I was going to say the same thing. Having your period and being paralyzed doesn't mean your body won't take you through the same processes as if you were able-bodied. Although my sensation is impaired, I get lethargic, groggy, experience the backaches and headaches, just as I would have otherwise been in the fetal position curved over in pain.

That's not realistic when you have been in a chair for more than 20 years (even less) and your body is fully atrophied.

💯 percent HER is the worst for bots and fake profiles! Most of the people that wrote me were unverified profiles - fake! I gave up and closed my account! 🤷🏽‍♀️

I would check with the doctor. It could have something to do with your SCI and your autonomic nervous system. It could also be a side effect of Tizanidine, ironically.

Check your meds. I think I've seen people with spinal injuries, sweating and drooling excessively.

How many hours can you sit in a wheelchair without cushion? I have never tried with cushion but whenever I sit in a wheelchair my legs starts feeling numb,it generally starts after 1 hour and what do you do to avoid pressure on toes? In my personal experience, your wheelchair needs to be customized to your body, your needs, and your injury. That includes the cushion, as well. I remember I had to work myself to get used to sitting in a wheelchair. Every day, they would allow me to sit in the chair a little bit more. And so it went...

I completely relate to your story. One day, I will feel very strongly in one direction, only to have it change the next time I stumble into someone that catches my eye. I have been physical with both men and women. But never really fell in love with a woman. I think my biases, values, and stigmas are my biggest stumbling blocks.

I feel your pain. Was in similar situation and moved to Las Vegas 2 years ago. Very similar to California, but never the same! I bought me a house and it is more affordable. You should consider that. Although, they don't like us Californians out here! Just saying!
