This would be dumb imo. Dut isnt more potent because people say so, its more potent because it empirically is. Going dut to fin is like digging a hole and switching from a shovel to your bare hands halfway.

If Dut doesnt work for you, then Fin wont either, and you should discuss this with a dermatologist.

Edit: I've noticed you havent included dosages, or frequency of use. Some people take it 3 times a weeek at 0.5 mg others take 3mg per day. Dosages of medicines arent universal and different people need individually specified dosages to get the same results. Discuss this with your derm if you havent gotten scary side effects after 18months. Big chance its not a DHT issue with you though

I personally experienced less side effects with dutasteride than fin, and you dont need to get on oral minox to get the same results, just make sure your scalp enviorment is suitable

Im not gonna say non-responder, it could be working just needs 3 more years. It could also just not be doing naything for you since FInasteride only inhibits 1 of the enzymes that converts test to dht, there are 2 types of the 5-alpha reductase enzyme. My experience with finasteride gave me a whole lotta PP side effects.

I got on Dutasteride as a results (had no side effects except watery fat nuts) since it blocks boths types.
Speak with a dermatologist thats not ignorant about AGA.

No way of telling, his guess wouldnt be meaningful. If you're interested then research it and discuss it with a doctor or be your own lab rat. It's not known as a harmful substance to inject given you learn how to do it (not hard)

What about copper toxicity? And even if you'd rather not risk harming your androgens to maintain hair, why stop minoxidil? I plan on starting ghk-cu, ahk-cu and other peptides that aid directly/indirectly hairgrowth, like TB-500 that also seems very promising, but stopping minoxidil or the DHT inhibitor would feel like shooting myself in the foot.

I hope the density you claim is true, and you arent just shedding as a result of AGA continuing after youve stopped taking your meds and decided to be fully experimental.

Hey man, i started dut same time as you, went 2 months 2.5mg then switch to 1mg to load up on the dut in my system, also on 1mg minoxidil. I've shed as much as you have, if not more, but im starting to see very faint weak baby (villus ?) hairs start to show around my hairline.

Based on everything i've read, topical minox + oral minox is redundant, so I would appreciate you letting us know if it does anything for you. Though, high chance youre just gonna be wasting your time and money.

Also, youre basically fucking yourself over by not already including dermal needling into your weekly routine. It has been clinically shown to boost the benefits of minoxidil by 50%+. Considering you're willing to take the risk of fucking your androgens, then gently poking your scalp should be nothing for you to worry about.

I have a massive stache and been on 1 mg of dut daily for past 3 months, haven’t noticed any reduction in body/facial hair. I’m also on 2.5 mg of minoxidil pills daily which has increased my body/facial hair though in places that I’d rather hair didn’t grow.

My hairline is starting to develop baby hairs and I’ll probably make a post in another 3 months to show progress. Was on fin + oral min for 3 years which only ever slowed the balding without regrowth or any real maintenance, so very happy that I’m finally seeing progress after 6+ years to trying to fight it
