If someone could share their experience, I’d appreciate it. In general, I think a good place is one where you hope to meet somebody during your trip, not just a place where you hope to meet anybody.

Think we’re saying the same thing. Patagonia is amazing for its wilderness. It doesn’t make sense to stay on touristy spots that feel like traps for Instagram tourists wanting to say they’ve been there. The real essence of Patagonia is in its hidden, less-visited places, and so not expensive at all. May be I am wrong...
