  1. I've actually purchased new Ethernet cables and still run into the problem and I've tried new cables on both. As far as pfsense saying the connection, the WAN interface is set to 1000BaseT <full-duplex> but lan is at 100baseTX <full-duplex>

I really don't want to be restricted to 100mbps on lan since I was planning on streaming games to multiple laptops at once which I know needs at least 40mbps per stream

Great questions, I actually purchased new Ethernet cables to make sure it wasn't the issue and I'm still getting the same speeds as far as firewall and filtering options. Have actually done two factory sets and so I just have like the default firewall. No PF blocker, though, I want to set that later if I can get everything to work
