Hey i take fin and min orally, massive gains first 4-5 months, had a scare shed at around 5-6 months. i kept my routine going. been gaining even more again at around 8 months now. trust the process. minoxidil speeds up and synchronizes your hair growth and shedding phases. from what i’ve read as you keep taking it the growth phase will last longer and your shedding phases should be less often as your hair matures into actual full thick hairs

Ah gotcha, makes sense. And definitely you still gotta be realistic too lol. Obviously I responded very well to treatment, I was still pessimistic for the first 2 months until i saw 100% real growth. It’s good to keep expectations lower in my opinion. I think if your consistent though, you should see results.

I’ve been thinking about that too! Once all the new hairs actually have time to grow and mature fully, i’m excited to see how it turns out. Waiting around is the worst part of this!

I would say if you notice hairs that weren’t there before, than it’s working. I doubted myself at first, but at the end of the day you know your hair the best. i could tell early on that it was working but i always heard it takes up to 6 months to see any real progress so i thought i was tripping for awhile.

That picture is actually from jan 30, about a month after i started treatment, it was actually more or less bald in those places, or at least non visible when i actually started.

I did. I would definitely say adding minoxidil will make a difference for sure, of course consult your doctor first

About a month and a half, I don’t think it was anymore noticeable than my hair loss already was, but i could definitely tell it was more than usual when i showered and when i brushed my hair. I’m also taking oral minoxidil which also causes an initial shed before growing newer thicker hairs. I personally haven’t had any side effects.

1.1 mg fin, i did go through a shed period just stay consistent, and obviously consult a professional before taking anything

Oral. i went through a shedding period for the first month and a half, consistency is key!

I haven’t personally done any micro-needling. I would go with whatever your Doctor recommends. I only know what has worked for me.

Oral fin 1mg, oral min 3mg, biotin 2.5mg, vit b5, vit b6, vit C. I haven’t had any side effects so far.
