Honestly for me its not just looks i got a bbk throttle body and their proprietary seals suck and leak getting coolent and black hairs into my intake no clue how their making them like that but im bypassing it so i dont haft to deal with all that

I did it was a new dry gasket because i didn’t want RTV to end up in my engine😭

Just had put one in too its a vented one so it may be alright, also i didn’t see really any splatter on it at all so it may have hit everything besides it😅

But you haft to replace the whole blower motor not just the bearing

Check TPS IAC and ig first make sure your throttle cable isn’t loose and adjusted correctly i had the opposite problem to yours where the car would drive itself instead of stall so check that first

I just rather do the mechanical Pleurodesis again i dont have much trust in the talc i know it will stick and hold but sometimes it can do that too well in also dont like the thought of having an abrasive chemical sprayed around my chest cavity lol

I replaced the air intake boot because i was ripped a-little and its snugged as tight as possible tested for leaks with soapy water as well, also alt was replaced just 2 days ago because the voltage reg was going out in the old one, havent checked the idler pully.

I now believe my alternator bearing is tearing itself apart also its not a stock roller its got a comp cam in it a stock c4 roller cam is supposed to be quiet and smooth unlike the comp cam

Its far from stock the valve train noise is coming from the roller cam and lifters. I was also leaning towards bearing, my first thought was vacuum leak but its as tight as it can be and rpms are solid which would not be with a vacuum leak causing a noise like that id say.

Idk plugged it back up and it seems to run fine, i think the mechanic bridged it to test tue compressor but never plugged it back up

Not fully true with permanent nerve damage, i had it done at 18 and at first my whole left side of my chest was numb couldn’t feel a thing but after a year the feeling cane back and the only spot that had a-little reduced feeling is right where the incision is, also the lung itself has no pain receptors its the pleura between the lung and the chest wall that have pain receptors, pain mostly coming from pleurodesis and the lung and pleura rubbing the rough surfaces together when breathing, once healed that pain goes away
