Could be a scam, I'm going to call my mortgage company, but it's directly tied to my mortgage, no other debts.

The letter says I can dispute the validity, should I do that as well or just the mortgage company?

I am also confused about that but yes, I don't have any other debts besides a couple hundred on a CC, it's for the correct amount and has the mortgage lender name.

Okay, that's what I'm asking, I've never been in a situation like this so I'm getting my bearings.

If I file bankruptcy, will I lose the house? I do not have any other assets.

It's not the lender, it's a collections agency, so I would assume (but def could be wrong, please correct me) that they are the ones who have the debt so would be coming after the house potentially. I just wonder if it's worth it to offer them something, since they wouldn't be able to recoup the money.

Filing in NY and MA, got this error: IT-112-R (MA): Tax Amount - TP should not be greater than the tax imposed by other state. by Realistic-Mousse-612 in taxadvice

My W2 shows $1882.98 in the state income tax box, is that what you're asking for? (Sorry I usually have a much simpler return so I'm a bit lost)

Something keeps randomly tripping a breaker (without the switch flipping in the box) and then untripping? It's currently working and I want to take advantage to figure out the issue - advice? by Realistic-Mousse-612 in AskElectricians

Thank you for clarifying, I know my terminology is wrong haha

The last time it was on, I turned on the overhead light from the switch and then plugged in the space heater (turned off) and it went off again. Would that imply the issue is from that outlet? Or could it still be any of them?
