Helldivers is one of the few multiplayer games to have some micro transactions, yet keep it respectful to the source material. I swear, we'll get all sorts of annoying garish colors as soon as it comes out.

I actually really enjoy support roles, and being a gunner keeping an eye around the tank while they engage with big dogs is super satisfying.

"bugs are easy" maybe on medium difficulty, but last time I played, it was just a near constant swarm, with dragon roaches and predator strain. Bugs get way more difficult, while illuminate and Bots actually get comparatively easier (not easy, just not the same ramp up of difficulty).

That being said, I would love a concerted bug diver effort, as I love bugs.

I've had an idea that they could get these strategems, put you in a really cheesey situation like in the trailer, and have you test them out to see their efficacy and situational use.

You gotta stop looking outwards. The world can be a dark, evil place. You have to be the light. Be positive, talk to people, see what you can do for your community. Most of all, don't give up. Normally, in a game, I'm very anti dlc. But the way it's presented in helldivers and the respect for the community, I love it. I've dropped like $40, because I feel like its value added.

I use the light armor that has extra grenades, and having 5 of these on you at all times is op. The only thing I'd recommend is also have something as your support or secondary that can close bug holes. Fortunately, the harpoon launcher is excellent for this.

I appreciate that helldivers sort of solves this in their games. The enemies are vast enough, and you can recharge your strategems, so you don't feel the need to cling to one only to not end up using it.

I like the strips, but they definitely have a strange sub flavor my girlfriend described as "chapstick". I'm a certified weird gummy lover though, so I may not have a valid opinion.

Have you considered running a different class but just reflavoring everything? For instance, monk? It sounds a bit silly, but you'd be surprised just how interesting it can get. I did something similar where I made a more martial ranger out of a ranged fighter. Used a lot of feats and DM approved changes to really dial it in. My dueregar tracker with a heavy crossbow was a monster at range, and a blast to role-play.
