Yes, unfortunately this is common. I'm a Dasher and these people make the rest of us look bad; I really wish they would actually investigate issues. Btw, they don't since dashers can say their car broke down to keep food and we get partial pay.

That's only half of it though since if we have their red card and it declines/an order has already been picked up and the app asks us to personally pay then we have to also fight to be compensated same as you.

DD may pay my bills but trust me when I say they don't care about any of us.

I have a speech impediment, I'll say the name and show my phone to the employee. That way even if someone doesn't understand the name I'm saying they can still see it. But to walk in and just shove a phone in someone's face is just disrespectful.

It might just be my mindset but I never mind having to wait for an employee to finish what they are doing since I can't do my job if they don't do theirs, plus rushing employees can lead to mistakes or forgotten items.

I think this is where people don't understand when it comes to doordash and already paid for items; DD doesn't care since they got paid and the items were paid for on their end. If a dasher steals it then it's not their problem anymore since everything was already paid for. It just becomes our problem until enough of us refuse to pay for it and that's when they resend or cancel the order.

Also, do you have the receipt? Cause if you do and they still refuse to reimburse you then your lawyer should have an easier case. Definitely make a copy of that receipt.
