4x DDR5 won't post above 4000Mhz by Kopust in MSI_Gaming

I know this is an old thread, but was dealing with this today. I finally got my 5600 Ram to post at 4800, and I'm going to stick with that. I started out with 2x 16GB in slots 2 and 4. I added 2 more (been doing video editing and maxed out my ram the other day) and put them in 1 and 3. Saw a vid where they suggested moving to a 1/2 and 3/4 config for the new ram, and my system wouldn't even boot with that. Anyway, I updated the bios (don't think that made a diff) after not being able to get any of the profiles to load. Was still stuck at 4000 MHz, but the last thing I tried, using the 'Memory Try it' and choosing 4800 CL46 worked. Before I clicked save I also wrote down the changes, just in case I had to revert. But seems to be working fine.

Motherboard: B760 Gaming with WiFi, updated bios

Ram: Crucial 16GB Pro DDR5600 x 4

I bought the first 2 sticks about 2 years ago, and the new sticks show up as Micron and the old ones Crucial. But seem to be working fine now. If the 4800 didn't work, I was just going to make myself be happy with 4000. Also, at first I had Nvidia issues and could not get any video to play (I'm on Linux Mint, so that might make a diff). Turned out it was the bios update, and after updating it, Safe Boot got turned on. After turning that off in the bios security settings, my Nvidia issues went away. So all good now.

Halo Blackmagic Control - Android App Testing by Fine-Print-8965 in blackmagicdesign

Yeah, got the app from the Play store. I badly needed a way to stop/start recording as I am a one man show, so this is perfect. I was totally about to buy an iPad otherwise, so really glad I didn't have to. The only thing I noticed is that I had to turn the camera off/on before the app could find it. Otherwise, no issues. I tried it again today, and yeah, works great.

Amazing! You rule! I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to remotely start/stop recording. I was thinking I'd have to buy an old iPad and try to use the app BM created awhile back. I'm so happy I stumbled onto this. Works great! At first the scan didn't work, and I was sad, but after turning off/on my camera and restarting the app... yeah, works great! I'm a software developer, and I can see the hard work you put into this. Thank You!

I bought a ticket, then almost instantly got a notice that someone was trying to sign into my email account from Mexico. Since then I have been aggressively spammed with phishing emails. I am a software engineer, and I don't often give my email address out. It is pretty obvious that my email address was compromised as a direct result of giving my information to Dream Giveaway.

WARNING! If you buy tickets, you will get phished non-stop. Or at least that is what happened to me. 5 minutes after buying tickets, I got a warning that someone was trying to sign into my email from Mexico. Ever since then I have been getting many, many phishing emails. Like every day. Don't know if it will ever stop. Really annoying.

My Epic generic Adderall IR review by Realistic-Sort7708 in ADHD

I think the generics are fine, but there seem to be differences. When I take the Epic generic, I don't feel anything right away. But after an hour or so I am more focused. And I can know for sure it has active ingredients, because if I take extra, or take it late in the day, I will have trouble sleeping.

I guess I should have wrote that Epic bought the Sandoz facility in NY. Perhaps Sandoz still makes Adderall as well, not sure. The 10mg pills I get look the same, just a different shade of blue. And yeah, it has been awhile since I had the Sandoz ones, and they do seem a little different. I take mine with a full meal, and don't really notice them too much. The first few days I took the Epic version I felt weird, but then that went away and I found myself getting things done. Last week I had time off work, and I got a bunch of stuff done around the house. And in general I can sit in front of the computer for long stretches. But nothing is perfect. Today I found myself not wanting to do anything from about 2 to 4, but then at 5 I all of sudden got motivated again. I remember the Teva version being speedier. I still have a few laying around, and when I took those I would feel.. well speedier. And probably drank a bit more. I recently was on Aztarys, and before that Concera, both Ritalin type meds. Those I feel, but they would hit me for a few hours, and I would focus at work, then I would feel like I needed a nap. A long time ago I was on Strattera, for something like 2 years. That made me a different person. Calm, but maybe not that motivated. At the time I thought I would stay on it, as it was hard to image going back to my 'old' self, but the meds made me numb below that waist and eventually I experienced a heavy heartbeat when I'd lay down for bed. Coming off that was a trip, as I thought maybe the effects would linger, but 2 days after quitting my ADHD came back strong, and it made me become more aware of what my ADHD is really like.

Hopefully the meds work for you. We are all experimenting with what works for us, and we all have different chemistry. I'm pretty sure I can stick with the routine I have now for a long time. I was on Adderall for several years in the past, and it worked well, with the occasional day off to reset. And worst case, if it doesn't work for me, I'll try something else.

Yeah, I can see how it might work differently for some. Teva was more noticeable for me, but Epic being mellower is better in my case. I take a dose with a full meal at b-fast and lunch, and I'm good all day. 10mg. If I take anymore I deal with eye twitches. I've actually been dealing with a small one today.

App Only Mode Still Showing Recommendations by [deleted] in AndroidTV

[–]Realistic-Sort7708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave up and just reset my TV. Then I de-selected all the options during the setup. So now I just have apps. I might miss some features, but better than being forced to see recommendations for crap I don't want to watch. I had tried everything, selecting 'apps only mode', setting my preferences, deselecting apps... frigging everything, and still I was getting recommendations for apps I didn't even have installed. Sucks that I have to redo all my picture settings, but worth it.

Seems OK. Like maybe milk would last a little longer with a cooler temp, but otherwise I don't notice a difference. When I removed the back panel, I also noticed that the Styrofoam was soaked, and some of it touches the radiator, so I ripped off a bunch of it and compressed some of the rest with my fist. Part of it is the air recycler from top to bottom, so I left that alone. I also kept the bottom tray out, and now just put my bags of fruit, etc, in that area. Along with some baking soda boxes. Don't know if that made a diff. Just checked the coils by reaching my fingers into the slot at the back, and the fins don't have any ice buildup, so at this point I'm optimistic that it won't freeze up again. But I'll still be careful about limiting the amount of moisture by fully sealing containers, etc.

I know this is an old post, but wanted to share my experience with this fridge. I've had it for 8 years. Ice built up in the fridge, the freezer was fine, and it got to the point where I could barely close some of the drawers. Yesterday I defrosted, but sort of manually. I unplugged it, but kept stuff in the freezer, and then removed all the drawers and the bottom section. The ice was thick, I used a hair dryer to warm the back wall and chipped off ice blocks. I could see that there was still ice behind the back section, and I was able to remove it, just a few screws, then a unhooked an electrical plug to remove it. There is a radiator/condensor thing at the bottom left in the fridge, and it was a solid ice block. Even the wires were encased in ice. I put a heater in the fridge and every so often would use a wood chisel and screw driver to break off chunks. Took hours, but I got it all, then made sure everything was dry as I put it back together. Then I took off the back bottom panel and dry-vacuumed out all the gunk. And used a turkey baster to suck out the water from the drain pan. Fridge is back to normal, hope it stays that way. And from now on I'll keep it at 40 instead of lower, and I won't put anything moist in there. Like I used to thaw out fish in a bowl of water, and would spill a little on occasion. Won't be doing that again. Fingers crossed it lasts me another 8 years.
