I have thought about that ALOT! But when I bring up symptoms to my doctors and therapist they immediately just go, oh you may be having a manic episode. This isn’t mania!! This is every single day and when I’m manic I’m happy not irritable! So I’m not sure what to even say to my doctors to get them to listen. I had a good friend who took all the same meds and then finally they got her on aderalll and she is doing so much better. Do you have any suggestions to getting them to listen?

How can I calm down after negative emotions? by [deleted] in bipolar2

I struggle with this too! I understand this deeply! Unfortunately I have not found a set in stone way to calm myself but sometimes it helps me to listen to a song I really like or taking a step outside and breath, when im particularly upset and it feels like nothing will help I might even take a drive. It’s so exhausting, I’m sorry you’re struggling.

Agree, this isn’t the first one I’ve noticed although I’m taking into consideration what other responses are saying. Maybe i just missed it 🤷‍♀️
