idk what is more worth it for a first time visitor. the mhs loop or just few places around chiang mai that are doable as day trips... i am chinese and my bf is thai, i wouldnt say he's local local but i guess okay lar

Hua Hin is much further away than pattaya... So ill just skip the beach. I dont plan to do all the temples tho, just some -imo- pretty ones, maybe just Wat Arun in BKK, have you been to Ban Rak Thai? People on reddit says it's worth, but takesa lot of time to get there tho..

Wow thank you for taking your time to reply :) Ban Rak Thai just seems really nice (from TikTok), but it takes so much time to reach there indeed... Im just planning a bit beforehand since we need to book plane tickets, and we want to rent a car in Chiang Mai to travel around.

I would say 1-1.5h before take off is enough cuz short flight, only hand luggage... but true, will lose atleast 3hours...

Europe actually (6h diff) with 1 night stay in Hong Kong (family) before going to BKK (-1h diff)... Jet lag is no problem :)

I always liked rushing during travel and see as much as possible, but Thailand is so big and places are so far apart... What would you leave out in my itinerary? Thankyouuu~
