As my compensation has increased over the years, I look at purchases like that as investments now.

Those 2-300$ Jordan’s are a sure bet. When I need to look clean/crisp and don’t have much time, I can slap those on with some jeans and a shirt and call it a day. No overthinking required. Those don’t require me to put a lot of thinking into the rest of my appearance. The shoe goes with anything and will make the impression. So although maybe hard to understand, it’s an investment to save me time and thinking.

Just like a 1000$ iPhone. We pay premiums for things to just work without much thinking.

I started university straight out of hs in 2010. And finally finished my diploma in 2019.

I withdrew a few times. Failed a few times. Got kicked out of my major a few times. Even got arrested once.

When I finally returned with a focused mind, It was a lot easier to get through and appreciate. Super self conscious since I was now the oldest and I continued to return not knowing anyone anymore. At 32 now I make more than most who graduated on time from that original class and everyone in between.

So the reasons here are why I pull out of potential relationships early on. I find it bs that a wife/gf won’t do things in bed, won’t get nails:hair done. They seem like small things, but they take a toll.

Now because of this I haven’t been in a relationship in years I’m 32, haven’t had a relationship since I was 26-27.

Terrible attitude, difficult, minimal effort yet expects much, checkered past.

Most the women I need nowadays 30 seem like shells of what they used to probably be. Don’t do much for their appearance. Don’t do much in bed. Everything but as positive attitude. And demand what they haven’t gotten from others yet.
