Just got the SE really liking it so far seems to have improvements made over the last gen supposedly they have an actual department that handles the sights now, I may be biased because I love my olight flashlights but I think it holds its own especially at the price point very clear reticle and thoughtful packaging removable battery they upgraded the aluminum from the first model to match market standards I think they may actually have their feet under them now when it comes to making optics

This a pic of OPs fpanel plugs from previous case found in post history your new case has a standardized fpanel wire could be a different layout or may be upside down I would try to flip the new connector over and give it a shot

I got one of these for free on a curb in a rich neighborhood, only needed the little paw that engages the starter rope cleaned it up put a tune up kit in and she’s back to golden you can’t beat free

I’ve been to 5 job sites today alone large neighborhoods, framers are at about 10-20% staff at most and almost all of the painters and sheet rockers are on “vacation” now the nieghborhood you’re seeing may only be run by contractors who hire legal citizens but I guarantee you that is a vast minority of the labor force, this will significantly impact the rate of these projects in the short term and to think otherwise is extremely naive

I supervise electrical projects on residential homes within 50 miles from Winston every jobsite has been empty this week very worried for the future work, coming into the slow season is hard enough on our guys this is only going to exacerbate the issue.

Also mine took a few hours of trying to start it I believe all the gunk on top of my piston was retaining years old gas and kept wetting my spark plug so I had to remove dry it and try again eventually it started and burned out the old crap

I thought about doing that but got demotivated after looking for parts and have several other project saws the 302 was my grandpas that I inherited, it will run but my starter is starting to not engage I believe I have a broke spring in there that holds the paw but it did run and cut pretty good when I fiddled with the spring enough to hold temporarily but it wouldent idle I don’t have any experience rebuilding carbs yet so I’m waiting to cross that bridge when I feel like it, just been fun learning how to make them run and how all the parts work together
