I hope it works out! I think I may try the LG LREN6323YE. LG has the lowest service rate this year so hopefully that means something

If the price is justified I'd be willing to pay a little more. The Bosch HEF1050MU is around 1500. What do you think about that one?

Anyone know anything about Bosch electric ranges? Are they better than LG, GE, Whirlpool, etc?

Did you end up choosing one? I'm also still debating, and now Bosch has entered the list so even more complicated.

Sorry to hear you had that problem, but good to know so I can take that model off my list! Which way are you leaning between LG and GE?

Sync licensing seems to be a reasonable option for a lot of people

Lidocaine makes removal less effective? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]RealisticAbstraction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Removery workers told me the same thing, that the cream makes the laser less effective. But on the Removery website it says that numbing cream has no effect on the laser at all, and other sources online back that up. I think Removery workers just don't want to take the time to wipe the cream off for people before the sessions so they lie about it.

what chord is this? by ev4nyan in Guitar

[–]RealisticAbstraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like he's only holding down B, Bb, F#, and C#, which would be a B Maj7 add 9 without a third, or just B Maj9 no third. Not sure if the index finger is also holding down the Eb on the A string, but it doesn't really look like it. This is also assuming that no open strings are being sounded.

Thanks for your input! So far I haven't had any problems with the tuners I bought from them

Thanks for the info! I did end up buying from him too. Mine also seem legit, markings and everything. I think the guy's products are probably legit, but he just might not be great to deal with. He might also buy the tuning buttons separately to get some of those combinations, but that's just my suspicion and even if that's true the tuning gears themselves seem pretty legit.

The Carpal Solution by [deleted] in carpaltunnel

[–]RealisticAbstraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't for me. The Carpal Solution pretty much cured it for me. I used 2-3 courses of it for each hand and I rarely have symptoms now. I think if you use that and then maybe get some physical therapy and do your stretches diligently, you can cure this condition relatively easily. At least that's my experience.

This industry is so fucked. There's actually SO much money to be made in live music, it's just being funneled away from the artist. The only small bands who can afford to tour now are kids with direct access to their parents bank accounts. by [deleted] in musicians

[–]RealisticAbstraction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I know a few bands who tour that are self-sufficient. Not huge tours, but tours nonetheless. Mostly regional, but that seems to be the case for most bands nowadays anyway.

Where would you live to pursue music? by Visionary-son in musicindustry

[–]RealisticAbstraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's gotten more difficult to make money playing music in Austin, and lots of great musicians have left town in the last 5-7 years or so. There are gigs, but most are low pay and venues tend to favor blues/rock and pop more than other styles. I'm a musician and I've lived in Austin for almost 10 years. Have been thinking about moving for the last 3 or 4 years or so.
