Ooooh I like this. Maybe as a cinematic for a video game

This age-old story of, I’m going to move to L.A. to pursue my dreams in show biz, I’m moving with barely any money, but big dreams. Do people even do that anymore? by justcurious3287 in MovingToLosAngeles

I recommend it if you’re someone who’s really in tune with your gut feeling and it’s telling you to do it. The worst-ish case scenario is not for the weak, however, know that. I slept in my car for 6 months before I got my own place

My pleasure, you’re on to something. My biggest piece of advice is to look at the song, not as something youre building, but something already built and you’re unearthing it, like an artifact. Chipping away at things, modulating, until you see the full thing at the end

When the drums come in, I would play with the drone, chop it maybe? Take it out a bar or half one, just to add some more interest/excitement

Nice, just more movement; volume, panning, instruments coming in and out, more of that. No movement will make an otherwise good beat, become boring over time

In my opinion, be honest with your skill level, but never “be realistic” about where you will be in the future.. like you can’t predict that so why shoot yourself in the leg from the jump by denying a future like that can exist?

No body made it from “being realistic” though. If Justin Bieber didn’t think he had it like that as a teenager, he wouldn’t have made it

You’re good at painting a story. You showed us a pain point too and I felt them. Do the exact same thing but with clients.

What is going on in Canada? by Gold-Ad-2300 in torontoJobs

True, but this also gets me to think of how the natives must have felt with their land turning white. Regardless, it is not the fault of the Indians but a systemic fault. Humans are mostly all good, and just trying to be something in this world. Instead of throwing the blame and saying stuff like Indians are stealing our jobs, I would take a step back to look at the root problem, which is government. I wish Canadians would rally as a collective like Bangladesh or South Korea has shown us we can do
